Dr. Robert Petretta
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Robert Petretta is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty interest and training in knee arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement and orthopaedic trauma surgeries. Born and raised in Kelowna, he is happy to be back living and practicing in the community.
After completing his Orthopaedic Residency training at the University of British Columbia, he spent one year in Exeter, England completing a combined knee fellowship in both knee arthroscopy and knee joint replacement surgeries at the Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit. He then completed a second fellowship in complex orthopaedic trauma at the University of Alberta Hospital. The year also included additional training in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Petretta treats a variety of conditions including complex sports and multiligamentous knee injuries, primary and revision knee and hip replacement surgery. He also provides advanced trauma care at Kelowna General Hospital.
